Here we provide information about the type of wood, metal, and other materials used, describing the specific physical and functional features. Also details about the type of melamine board used and the thickness.
Globally, the most widely used is the 16 mm board. In Nafarù, however, we use a 19 mm board. This 3mm difference makes the structure more robust, resulting in a more stable and resistant piece of furniture.
This material is the most used in the furniture industry worldwide due to its unique properties; does not fade or crack over time. It is also antibacterial, easy to clean, resistant to humidity, scratches and the sun.
All colors are carefully selected by our design team, evoking natural woods and unicolors such as Gron green or Sule blue. A large part of our colors are exclusive and you will only find them in Nafarù.
All our boards have the FSC certification that accredits that the raw material of forest origin comes from forests managed according to sustainability criteria.
This effect, available for all the colors of the collection, is completely at the forefront of modern design furniture. The black grooves combined with the natural woods give the furniture a charming air.
We do not only use boards in 19 mm. We also combine 12 mm to enhance details of the furniture and give it a fine, innovative and minimalist design.
In Nafarù there are no handles on the drawers. To open them, press slightly and the drawer comes out silently. In addition, nothing can be seen, the entire mechanism is hidden.
The drawers close smoothly and quietly when you push them in.
Nafarù drawers have an innovative internal mechanism that consists of two lateral bearings that rest directly on the sides of the furniture and prevent the drawer from wobbling when extracted.
While in the furniture industry the interior of the drawers is manufactured in a standard color (White as a general rule), in Nafarù it is manufactured in the color of the front itself and with greater robustness. The lower part instead of 3 mm is manufactured in 12 mm.
The mechanism that gently raises or lowers the door (Pistons) are from the prestigious Italian manufacturer Ferramenta. Some mechanically perfect pieces with an exquisite design.
3000k intensity LED light (warm light) integrates perfectly to create cozy and atmospheric corners. The led is embedded in the wood itself without creating jumps and remaining hidden.
We manufacture our furniture with components from leading European companies in the furniture industry. Among them Italiana Ferramenta ® (For all types of fittings), Salice ® and Hettich ® (For drawer guides) or Haffele ® (Joining systems).
Our innovative joining systems ensure that the furniture is strongly assembled and no type of metal hardware is visible, not even inside the furniture itself.
Push-opening doors integrate a button that is activated with a slight pressure and easily pulls the door out.
Aluminum is a very light and resistant material that gives lightness to the furniture and serves as the perfect frame for the glass.
The metal legs used in Nafarù support up to three times the weight of the furniture itself. They also have a very minimalist and careful design.
The doors incorporate a soft close hinge. Just push the door and it closes itself smoothly and quietly. The slamming is over.
The shelves made of 19 mm board do not bend. They are also fastened with an innovative system that grips them to the structure of the furniture, preventing them from moving or falling.
Instead of using the standard 3mm back in the furniture industry, at Nafarù we implement a 12mm back in the color of your choice. This brings two main benefits; On the one hand, the furniture can be in the middle of the room (because it is perfectly finished from behind), it also gives it an unusual robustness.
While the standard in the furniture industry is 4 mm, Nafarù incorporates 6 mm glass. Up to 30% more resistant and capable of supporting more weight without bending.
This vintage-style glass brings an industrial touch to the space. Very fashionable in modern design furniture.
